CITYLAND MALL
Cityland Mall is the world’s first 2.2 million sq.ft. Nature-inspired retail and entertainment destination. It is scheduled to open its doors in 2018, and will be located beside Global Village on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
An open-air, 200,000 sq.ft. garden will sit at the heart of Cityland Mall. The landscaped park will provide a glimpse of nature’s rich biodiversity. It will include: a 3,000-seat amphitheater, 360-degree rooftop garden, a Japanese garden, an ancient tree garden, a mini water park, a walking track and a miniature version of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Al fresco cafés and restaurants will be opened at points that overlook the garden’s scenic beauty. Access to the garden will be free.
The mall will also host more than 350 international and local retail options, including home furnishing stores, electronic outlets, cosmetic shops, fashion, and personal and banking services. A hypermarket will fill 100,000 sq.ft. of space – the largest in the Dubailand area – while the latest movies will be played across 10 cinema screens. The mall will plate up more than 75 dining options in the dedicated food court and across the mall.
The circular-shaped property will be segregated into six culturally themed pavilions that provide an immersive shopping experience for international shoppers. Future plans include the construction of hotel properties in the mall’s vicinity, as well as replicating the mall concept in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
